Once again we gather on New Year’s Eve at Lands End to pray – to seek His Kingdom first. This is a new decade! A new time, a new season! ‘See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.’ (Isa 43:19) Come and join us as we stoke the fires of revival for 2020!
At 3:30pm we aim to go down to Lands End for a final time of prayer. Please share and invite your churches – All ages welcome.
Worshipping Friends is a registered charity based in Cornwall and a collective of worshippers and musicians from around the South West. “Simply loving God, going as He leads and playing a part in the restoration of night and day worship in the nations.”
We believe practising the Greatest Commandment, loving God with our all, is our highest honour and the most significant act here on earth. He moves powerfully through the praise and worship of His people. We love to gather, linking with local churches, for extended times of worship. Giving Him all the glory and space to do what only He can do in hearts, households, communities and localities.
From Friday 3rd January to Saturday 11 th January we are excited to gather for 8 days of continuous worship. Worshippers and musicians from across the county gathering together to simply fix our eyes on Jesus, lift up His Name and say ‘Yes and Amen’ to all He has for Cornwall and our nation.

We understand there are many different styles and expressions of worship throughout the church and these gatherings could be described as informal, contemporary and prophetic worship. Worshippers and musicians release hymns, psalms, new songs, loving and honouring God and loving and honouring each other as we stand together in corporate worship.For more details check out our facebook page:

Worshipping Friends are excited to gather in St Elwyn Church in Hayle to pour out worship and praise to God for 24 hours.
We kick off at 7PM on Friday 6th December and finish at 7PM on Saturday 7th December. What an honour and a joy to love, enthrone, exalt, adore, extol Jesus together.
We believe He has kingdom business afoot and blessings to pour out at this end of our county, the likes of which can only impact the county as a whole, the south west and our nation. We are so grateful to St Elwyn Church for opening their doors to us and we are excited to stand with the local Church in all they are thankful and contending for and say Yes and Amen Father! Your kingdom come in Hayle, in Cornwall and in our nation.
If you are free Dec 6/7th, join us, whether it’s 30 mins, 3 hours or 24. We’d be deeply honoured and blessed to worship side by side with you. He moves powerfully through the praise of His people.
1 I exalt You, my God the King,
and praise Your name forever and ever.
2 I will praise You every day;
I will honor Your name forever and ever.
3 Yahweh is great and is highly praised;
His greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation will declare Your works to the next
and will proclaim Your mighty acts.
5 I will speak of Your splendor and glorious majesty
and Your wonderful works.
6 They will proclaim the power of Your awe-inspiring acts,
and I will declare Your greatness.[d]
7 They will give a testimony of Your great goodness
and will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.

Following in the tradition of the ancient Celtic Church, we will discover what it means to prepare for the coming of the Christ by reflecting on Jesus’ coming at his birth as well as into our lives by the Holy Spirit and at the world’s end – come and join us this season through contemplative prayer to gain a new sense of wonder in the birth of Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
