In March 2016, FPCT commissioned a small group to establish what the social needs of the community in Falmouth are, and how the churches might better meet them.

Affiliated to the Trussell Trust based in Salisbury, Highway Church and other Christian supporters from Penryn and Falmouth have set up a Foodbank to provide emergency food for those who find themselves in an unexpected crisis.
