The relationship between Christianity and Judaism is profound, beautiful and complex. Our Lent Wednesday study will highlight how Christians, particularly, can enter into an exploration of this relationship.
Our 2024 Stations will share with you a series of seven works exploring, first, the seven vices most commonly included in lists of the ‘deadly sins’, and then, second, the seven cardinal and theological virtues.
This year we are inviting participants to reflect on the question of how we might be called to engage as Christians with the political realities and processes that shape our society, impacting our own lives and the wellbeing of our communities.
With a General Election on the horizon, we believe that this is the time to speak out as a Church and show our political leaders that another reality can exist where poverty doesn’t hold anyone down, and that together we can get there.
JPIT is working with Christian Aid, Church Action on Poverty, The Trussell Trust, and other partners to create resources which will help you and your church gain a deeper understanding of experiences of poverty, and enable you to act in the run up to the election.
As Lent comes to an end and we look towards Holy Week and Easter, our Quiet Day will provide the opportunity to reflecti on Jesus’s suffering as it continues in the lives of his people today
