Red Wednesday Prayer Service for Persecuted Christians

Thank you to all those who attended the special ‘Red Wednesday’ service at St Mary’s to pray for persecuted Christians. The response was good. 20 people participated. The service included an account of the Christian witness of a Syrian man who was detained at work and imprisoned, unable to get word to his family.

This creative day will examine the theme of suffering and restoration through a variety of readings and reflections. We will then use the medium of relief printmaking to respond to this theme. Tuition will be given and all materials will be supplied. You will create an original piece art to take home with you.
