Christians at Pride : 24 Aug, Newquay

This year there will be a group of Christians taking part in the Pride parade in Newquay.

Newquay’s new curate, Revd Lee Chantler, said: “It’s my first year in the town and I think it’s really important that everybody is represented in the parade! There’s already a small group of us from both Anglican and Methodist backgrounds, but we would love to have more people on board from any background or denomination.

“The Christians at Pride website ( has great advice, banner ideas and sells official tee-shirts should people wish to purchase one. Anyone who wants to join us can contact me either at or through Facebook.”

Cornwall Pride is in now in its 12th year. The parade will move off from Beach Road Car Park at noon on Saturday, August 24. People joining the parade are advised to be there from 11am.

Thursday evenings throughout July 7.30 at Mount Charles Methodist Church

4th July

Right First Time

Over 300 bible prophecies were fulfilled at the first coming of Jesus, we will look at some of these and some of the prophecies yet to be fulfilled when Jesus returns.

11th July

“Teacher When?”

What did Jesus Himself have to say about the end times?

18th July

The Great Escape

What does the bible say about the return of Jesus for His bride? What our eyes fixed on in these turbulent days? “Look up and be watchful for your redemption is drawing near.”

25th July

Back To The Future
