Truro Foodbank presents the film “Fisherman’s Friends” at Truro Methodist Church. Entry is by donation only and proceeds will go towards funding the overhead costs of running Truro Foodbank.

All Saints and New Street are holding a Barn Dance! With music from the Cornish Tinners Ceilidh Band, this promises to be a fun night of dancing and getting to know each other.
For the fourth year events are being held in Truro over three days – 20th, 21st and 22nd September. All are invited to come and be a part of this celebration to mark World Peace Day.

The Dome of Human Kindness – it’s finished!! After many months of hard work and determination Tom Henderson-Smith and team have completed the Dome. It is now ready to be installed in the performance area of the Dor Kemmyn Peace Field. All are very welcome to attend. There will be refreshments available.
Truro Cathedral will once again be holding a special service for people affected by suicide. The service of reflection will be on Sunday 8th September at 2 p.m. and is for anyone that may have been affected by suicide – those of all faiths or none, you are all welcome.
