The ‘Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols’ services on 23rd and 24th December are a much loved and historic part of Christmas celebrations in Cornwall. Devised here in 1880 by Bishop Benson, the first Bishop of Truro, these services are usually filled to capacity so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The 23 December service will be sung by the choir with its girl choristers.
The 24 December service will be sung by the choir with its boy choristers.
All welcome. No reserving of seats is permitted.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be available to buy and enjoy before the service.
