With schools shut across the country, the nation’s most vulnerable children are particularly at risk as regular contact with support services is reduced.

Churches are also struggling with remote working, limited capacity staff and the challenges of reaching young people who are socially isolated.

In addition, Childline has reported a sharp increase in calls from distressed young people struggling to deal with the impact the pandemic is having on their lives.

Join our Cinnamon Connect Webinar, to find out how your church can effectively support young people and those caring for them during the current crisis and beyond.

On Thursday 7 May at 11 am, Nick Amis will be joined by Nathan and Sabrina Dennis from the charity First Class Legacy, and Viviene Royal, from TLG.

Nick, Nathan, Sabrina and Viviene will be discussing:

  • What are the challenges facing young people right now?
  • What practical support is available for them?
  • How can we ensure the safeguarding of children during the crisis?
  • How can your church support young people and parents alike?
