Join TEVI and Cornwall Community Flood Forum to learn more about climate change, the challenges we face as the impacts are felt, and what can be done to combat these effects.

In conjunction with Cornwall Community Flood Forum, Tevi is hosting an opportunity for businesses and councillors from across Cornwall to learn more about climate change, the challenges they are likely to face as the impacts are felt, and what can be done to combat these effects and boost their local community’s climate resilience.

As part of Tevi’s commitment to growing Cornwall’s environment and helping Cornwall’s people to benefit from it, they will also be introducing their newest Challenge Network. Tevi want your help to bring together communities from across Cornwall to learn from and support one another, and work together to identify how Tevi can support them to become more resilient in the face of climate change, COVID-19, rising inequality and food insecurity.

11:40am – 12:10pm: Mark Smith, ZLC Energy LTD, ‘Supporting renewable energy in your community’.
12:10am – 12:40pm: Group discussion on ‘What would a guide for community resilience include?’

This event is for communities, councillors, and businesses to learn about the latest information and opportunities, and to share priorities and challenges to shape the outcome of the TEVI supporting community resilience project.

Tevi is an ERDF-funded programme supporting Cornish SMEs to grow whist contributing to Cornwall’s environmental growth priorities and circular economy transition. Tevi currently supports over 300 enterprises through bespoke consultancy services, challenge networks and a grant scheme. Tevi is delivered by the University of Exeter in partnership with Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Cornwall Council and Cornwall Development Company.
