Relay to COP26 : Your help needed!

We need your help!

We’re excited that our Relay to COP26 begins in under two weeks!
We also have some favours to ask!
We only have about 50% of volunteer roles filled for the start of Cornwall-Bristol. This beginning stretch is hugely important as it will be the first part of the route that people see, and we hope that starting well will encourage others to get involved as the Relay travels.

As a group of young Christians organising this Relay, there aren’t many of us based in the South West, so we are strongly reliant on the welcome and support of individuals and churches in the area.
Please can you help?
We are in need of:
Monday 14 June – Wednesday 16 June: Carbis Bay to Falmouth
– 2 Lead Walkers
– As many additional walkers as possible for the first day
– Accommodation
– On-call Support
Friday 18 June – Sunday 20 June: Truro to Fowey
– Accommodation
– On-call support
Tuesday 22 June and Wednesday 23 June: Looe to Plymouth
– 2 Lead Walkers
– Accommodation

Thursday 24 June – Tuesday 29 June: Plymouth to Exeter

– Detailed Route Planner
Do you, or someone you know, think you could help?
Please email Hannah at relay@yccn.uk.
Full briefings for each of the roles above are on our website (yccn.uk) alongside a sign-up form, but given how critical this is, we’re very happy to speak with anyone who may be able to help directly.
