Preacher: Roy Crowne, President of Hope Together
This Service will be hosted by Central Methodist Church, and we are delighted – and very fortunate – to have as our preacher the irrepressible Roy Crowne – President of Hope Together, the national organisation behind some superb initiatives such as The Servant Queen and the King she serves book, HOPE Christmas Magazine and The Wellbeing Journey. In short, Roy is well-placed to offer us encouragement and inspiration to continue and develop engaging in holistic mission together – which is what we’ve said we want Churches Together to be about. Roy help us to explore the 2024 Week of Prayer theme of Go and do likewise – responding to Jesus’ words You shall love the Lord your God… and your neighbour as yourself – we warmly invite to with Christians from across all the churches in the area, both for worship together and a Bring and Share tea afterwards.
