Whether you are stepping up to leadership, or have held positions of authority for years, we want to help you become more effective in your role.

Course overview…

We’ve designed this course for leaders who want to learn how to…

  • Manage diverse teams with confidence and compassion
  • Step back and encourage new leaders to emerge
  • Identify gaps in their knowledge and reach out for support
  • Deal with challenges and crises with grace and wisdom

What’s involved…

The training will involve theory, practice, discussion and reflection, so come ready to get involved and share your ideas.

Teaching – Our trainers have plenty of knowledge and personal experience which they’ll share using PowerPoint presentations and videos.

Breakout rooms – Through breakout rooms, you’ll work with others to discuss the challenges you’re facing and how you can progress.

Q&A – Put your questions to our trainers to get clarity on the topics discussed and support with any specific projects you’re working on.

Notes – You’ll receive comprehensive notes from the training session along with relevant links and references.

What we’ll cover…

Leadership principals -We’ll explore what it means to be a leader and the key issues that you need to consider when stepping up to take on a role that involves guiding others.

Knowing yourself – There is no single leadership style or model – all leaders are different. Understanding your strengths and weaknesses will empower you to build a team that will work most effectively together. Our trainers will explore different methods to help you make the most of your gifts and embrace your weaknesses too. This is about being honest with yourself.

Humility and servanthood – The course is founded on Biblical truths and we’ll explore what the Bible has to say about the role of a leader and the pitfalls to be aware of.

Sharing the burden – You can be assured that whatever challenges you’re facing, you’re not alone. Our trainers, Adam Dyer and Mike Royal will share with you their leadership triumphs and failures and how we can use both to progress and be better.
