Praying for the health and healthcare of refugees and asylum seekers

Refugees and asylum seekers are often particularly in need of health support. The physical after-effects of war and torture, stress-related mental health difficulties and depression can impact their ability to rebuild their lives. But finding your way around the UK’s health system is not easy when you lack the confidence to communicate in English and don’t know support is available. This is why many refugees and asylum seekers often do not get the health care they desperately need. (Refugee Council).
Come and find out about the current needs and how we can offer support to refugees and asylum seekers from UK health experts. We are calling the UK Church to gather together to pray for the health and healthcare of refugees and asylum seekers.
Join with Christians from across the UK on Monday 28th February from 8-9 PM on Zoom to pray with and for refugees. We are looking forward to praying with you!
