New Housing Hub Conference – South West : 14 Mar, Exeter

March 14, 2020 | 10:00 am 4:00 pm
The Mint Methodist Church Centre, Fore St, Exeter EX4 3AT

Over the next decade, tens of thousands of people will be moving to this area, most of whom not of faith and all of whom looking for those who will welcome them and help build new communities. As Christians, we have the opportunity to bless and welcome those moving to this area and be instrumental in helping sow Kingdom values in to the fabric of these brand new communities. If that’s not part of our mission as followers of Jesus, I don’t know what is!

The national New Housing Hub (NHH), part of Churches Together in England, encourages & resources churches to be at the centre of God’s mission amongst those living in new housing areas. The Conference Day will include keynote addresses, a range of seminar groups, a resource hub and networking together to help us explore how to step into the unknown physically and spiritually to welcome and bless new residents and create opportunities for the Christian faith to be explored and nurtured in ways that are appropriate to the new context.

Whether you are new to new housing engagement, or already in this context and keen to connect with others; whether you are developing a strategy or looking to be hands on in a new community; whether you are a church leader or member, I’d love you to come and share and learn together so that between us we can share God’s love with every new housing area in the South West.
