The Chapter of Truro is delighted to announce that Canon Simon Robinson will be installed as the sixth Dean of Truro by the Bishop of St Germans, The Right Rev’d Hugh Nelson. The installation will be included in a Choral Evensong service which starts at 16:00 in Truro Cathedral. The Reverend Prebendary Stephen Stuckes, Rector of the Cuckmere Churches in the Diocese of Chichester will preach at this service.
The service will be sung by Truro Cathedral Choir, and the music will include by request of Canon Simon, ‘Magnificat’ and ‘Nunc Dimitiis’ composed by previous cathedral resident composer Dobrinka Tabakova.
All are welcome to join this celebratory service. This service will also be live-streamed on this page below or via the cathedral YouTube channel.
To those attending in person, please join us for a reception with refreshments where there will opportunity to chat and meet other members of the community after the Evensong and Installation.
