On 18th October 2023, we once again will unite for Anti-Slavery Day to highlight the hidden crime of modern slavery. In addition to acknowledging the fact that nearly 50 million men, women and children continue to be victims of modern slavery and exploitation, our purpose is to raise awareness of modern slavery issues and empower businesses to learn more about what they can do to take proportionate action across their operations and supply chains.
SFA, alongside other NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisations), elevate ASD into a whole week of events and campaigns to mark this important date. Anti-Slavery Week is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness amongst our organisations and value chains and showcase what you and your company are doing to build resilience against this crime. It’s a great time to engage with your colleagues, suppliers and customers about modern slavery and exploitation and how we can address the issue.
