Geek Factory is a unique residential camp that explores the Christian faith through the love of all things Geeky!
It doesn’t matter whether you are a hardcore self confessed geek or whether you just want to dip your toe into the geeky world, you will have a great time! Unlike many other youth camps and events out there, this camp has a unique feel because of the structure and tone of the event. This camp is relaxed, hilarious and puts an emphasis on people feeling comfortable to be themselves.
The camp includes lots of free time for young people to choose what they engage in, depending on their own interest and encourages young people to try new things. We provide a huge range of modern and old school game consoles, state of the art VRs, a treasure trove of board games and some unique geeky crafts.
In addition to the free time, we also do a number of team challenges that are always bonkers and quirky! In the past, this has included nerf wars, escape rooms, quests, lego challenges and stop animation. They are designed for high levels of fun, trying new things and surprise ourselves of our own capabilities!
We also explore God, the Christian faith and asking the big questions in life by exploring a theme for camp. We explore this theme through interactive talks, lots of group discussions and Q&A sessions. It doesn’t matter whether you have been a Christian for a long time or know nothing about God, you will have a fantastic and engaging time exploring together.
