A conversation between Fairtrade Youth Ambassadors from India and Ghana and the UK Fairtrade Youth activists

About this event

COP26 Climate Conference is coming to the UK. From 31 October to 12 November decision makers and climate experts from across the world will assemble in Glasgow to agree coordinated action to tackle climate change.

On the approach to COP26, Fairtrade reps from across our system will be making their voices heard by joining in conversation and solidarity to discuss the future they want to see, and how social and climate justice are crucial.

Youth Ambassador Deborah Osei- Mensah is a registered cocoa farmer from Ghana, a Livelihood Development officer of Ghana’s Asunafo North Farmers Union, and a leader of the union’s Monitoring and Evaluation team and Rutuja Patil is a passionate community climate change activist who has seen the impact of Fairtrade-certified sugar on local smallholder producer organizations on their own community in India.

Join Deborah and Rutuja as they discuss their experiences with UK based Youth for Fairtrade network members Henry Grub, based in Oxford and Sophie Griffith from Wilshire.
