The Community Camp is a 4 week long online journey of immersive learning, discovery and connection. It is a totally free training course and will be taking place throughout March offering a mix of practical learning activities, workshops and networking opportunities for people from across the UK. It will consist of two sessions each week – Monday evening & Tuesday afternoons or Wednesday evenings.
The camp is for people across the UK who engage with their community in a voluntary capacity and want to make any positive change happen in their community – big and small – or are already involved with a community initiative and want to take the next step. Camp is suitable for people who are just starting out on their journey, care deeply about something in their community, or those who are more experienced but keen to learn from and share with others.
Our Community Camp experiences have normally been held at the Eden Project in Cornwall, but with travel and other restrictions we switched online and held our first ever virtual Community Camp in October.
It was a huge success, but don’t just take our word for it – 99% of the 2020 participants rated the programme either excellent or good overall, and 97% would recommend virtual Community Camp to others.
