County Hall, Truro, TR1 3AY
On 28th SEPTEMBER 8.00 am onwards. Cornish Councillors will be returning to county hall. We are afraid of the climate crisis, are you? At this critical time in history, we have to ensure that the council meets its commitments to net-zero by 2030. Inconsistencies in council policy such as supporting an environmental bill of net zero by 2050, while having a target of 2030 themselves, only demonstrate a lack of understanding about the severity of the crisis. We call on Cornwall Council to reaffirm its commitment to net zero emissions by 2030. We ask you as individuals and a broad base of environmental and community groups, to join us, not only in peaceful protest but also to develop positive working relationships with the council.
Ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren deserve healthy resilient futures. Please join us on the 28th of September at county hall, for the sake of our planet and community.
