This workshop will help you turn climate anxiety into agency, inspiring you to home in on your passions to address climate change

Young Christian Climate Network is making an amazing Relay pilgrimage across Britain – from the G7 gathering in Cornwall to Glasgow’s UN COP26 climate conference in November. Christians committed to climate justice will bring a boat to raise awareness of sea level rise & storms hitting the poorest worst and first; and 4 Asks for increased climate aid, compensation and debt relief. Walkers and the boat are stopping in Exeter from 29th June to 10th July, with awareness raising and prayers in various services, online events and schools during this period.

Jake Causley is a passionate environmentalist, and the Sustainability Coordinator for Falmouth University. He delivers their Sustainability Strategy, encouraging a shift towards more sustainable behaviours in the campus community, working across areas including curriculum design, catering and procurement, and communications.

‘Force of Nature’ are a community interest company empowering young people to turn their eco-anxiety into agency, and working with leaders across business and education to drive intergenerational solutions. They believe the threat even greater than the climate crisis is our feeling of powerlessness in the face of it, and that the most effective, underutilised tool we have is mindset.

Jack will share this approach, and facilitate discussions in break out rooms. The event will not be recorded. You will receive a Zoom link in your confirmation email.
