What is a CAP Job Club?

It’s a friendly place where you will receive practical help as you seek employment. It’s a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other job seekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work. Our Job Club is entirely free of charge.

How do I know a CAP Job Club is for me?

Whether you’ve been unemployed for a short time, several years, or are yet to enter employment, we will help you to create a plan that works for you.
Our unique mix of a practical course, one-to-one coaching and a supportive group mean that you find the backing you need. Whoever you are, you’ll be welcomed as part of our Job Club family. We’re Christians Against Poverty, but we welcome people of any faith and none.

How will a CAP Job Club be different from other courses I’ve attended?

Our Job Club is run by trained and experienced volunteers who understand the challenges you face when looking for work and they really want you to succeed. You will not only have a support group, but your CAP Job Club Coach will spend time helping you to achieve your personal goals.

We will continue to monitor Government Covid-19 guidelines to ensure that we provide a secure environment. Whilst we are hoping to be able to run the course face-to-face, the one-to-one coaching sessions will be offered also via phone or video.

Numbers are limited. To book your place, please email Glyn Lumley on or call him on 07544 858232
