Walking with a purpose – to appreciate the natural world and reflect on our response to caring for the environment as individuals and communities

Join us for a 13 mile walk on Monday 18th October at 9.30am from St. Petroc’s Church, Bodmin (PL31 2DP). (There are several car parks in Bodmin.)
After a short reflection, we’ll set off at 9.45am for Cardinham and stop for our own packed lunch at St. Meubred’s (PL30 4BL), arriving there at about 12pm (4.5 miles at 30 minute miles – moderate with some steep slopes).
Leaving Cardinham at 1pm, for St. Hydroc’s (PL30 4DE), nestled in the National Trust estate at Lanhydrock, arriving there for light refreshments at about 3.45pm (5.5 miles at 30 minute miles – moderate).
The circular route will be completed as we head back, at 4.15pm, to St. Petroc’s, arriving there at about 5.45pm (3 miles at 30 minute miles – fairly flat).
You are invited to walk the whole 13 mile route or due to time and other restrictions, join us for a section and arrange to be picked up or retrace your steps, after waving the others onwards on their journey.
Stamp your Bodmin Way passport at each church and enjoy future walks to visit the other two churches, Lanivet Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Church, Nanstallon, that make up The Bodmin Way.
Please book your free place on the whole route or part of it at info@bodminway.org or 07713 288 340.
