2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the original development of the Nicene Creed. For Christians, the Nicene Creed is one of the most enduring statements of faith. It unites believers across time and space in a shared confession of who God is and what he has done in Jesus Christ.

To celebrate this, a variety of resources have been produced for the use of churches, groups and individuals. Church House Publishing has produced a series of reflections, We Believe: Exploring the Nicene Creed. This resource unpacks the significance of each part of the creed through daily biblical reflections, which offer prompts to reflect and pray.

A number of resources are being prepared including:

  • Printed ‘We Believe’ booklets from Church House Publishing
  • Daily reflections via Everyday Faith App
  • Downloadable resources for parishes (coming soon)
  • Downloadable session plan for groups (coming soon)
  • Downloadable graphics for social media (coming soon)

This launch webinar will explain more about the ‘We Believe’ theme and reflections. We’ll explain what the various printed and digital resources are and how you can access them. We’ll also be available to answer any questions you might have about making the most of the ‘We Believe’ theme. Sign up below to attend the webinar on Zoom. If you can’t attend on the day, you can still sign up and you’ll receive a recording of the webinar after the event. Read more about the resources and reflections at cofe.io/NiceneCreed
