Fairtrade Fortnight 22nd September to 5th October
Fairtrade Fortnight kicks off this week, inviting individuals, churches, schools, and communities to stand in solidarity with farmers and workers around the world. Running annually, this two-week campaign highlights the importance of choosing Fairtrade products—ensuring fair wages, safer working conditions, and a more sustainable future for producers in the Global South.
This year’s focus continues to shine a light on the climate crisis and how it disproportionately affects those who grow the food we rely on. By choosing Fairtrade tea, coffee, chocolate, and other goods, we support efforts that empower farmers to adapt to changing conditions and invest in their communities.
