Christingle fun in your own home!

THE BIG ‘C’s
We love Christmas, Christingle & Carols (and christmas cards, carrots, cauliflower, camels, coconuts, cardboard, canadians…… sorry – we might have got carried away there!)
But we are so/snow glad that we can invite you to hop online and carry on with Christmas, Christingle and Carols from your own home (we’ll leave it up to you whether you include any of the other ‘c’s as well).
CHRISTINGLE IN A BAG
So here’s the plan: you sign up below and we’ll put everything you need to make a Christingle into a bag for you. Then you can join us at 4.00pm on Sunday 20th December for our livestream on our youtube channel where we’ll make them together, LIVE! We’ll tell the Christmas story and sing along to a few favourite carols too – and there may even be a special appearance from the Emmanuel Baptist Children’s Choir.
COLLECTING YOUR CHRISTINGLES
It’d be pretty tricky for us to deliver hundreds of Christingles around Falmouth so we’ve got a few pick-up points for you:
FRI 18TH DEC @ EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH – pop along at school drop-off or pick-up – nice and easy for those at King Charles School (Western Terrace)
SAT 19TH DEC @ HUDDLE CAFE – drop by 9.30 – 11.30am – nice and easy if you’re doing some last minute shopping in town (Church Street)
SUN 20TH DEC @ ALL SAINTS CHURCH – call in 9.00 – 9.30am – nice and easy to run/cycle/ski past as you get your early Sunday exercise (Killigrew Street)
If you can’t make any of these then we may be able to help by delivering, but sadly only to TR11 postcodes (Santa might have a magic sleigh but he’s reluctant to loan it out to us).
Christingle is a great way to celebrate Christmas but it is also a great way to help The Children’s Society. They support vulnerable families around the UK in all sorts of ways – and as we know, that help is needed more than ever.
This year we can’t pass a plate around at our service to ask for donations for the work of The Children’s Society so we’re asking for a small donation per Christingle – 100% of which will go to them. We’ll also provide you with extra details in the bag of how to donate further in case you would like to. However if the price of the Christingle would mean you could not take part then please select a free one from the menu – no worries. (But please only use this option if you really need to)
