For Challenge Poverty Week in England and Wales, End Hunger Cornwall and the Cornwall Independent Poverty Forum teamed up to champion Challenge Poverty Week and held a ‘You Still Can’t Eat the View’ conference in Truro on 21 October.
Individuals, community groups and organisations were invited to come together to share stories and have solution-focused conversations about what we can do to change things, here in Cornwall and nationally.
The Conference took place on Friday, 21st October at All Saints Highertown Church, Truro with a time of sharing stories from Challenge Poverty Week and having positive, solution focussed conversations. We were joined on the day by Niall Cooper, director of Church Action on Poverty – the team behind Challenge Poverty Week England & Wales.
