Across the UK, churches, community halls and other venues are registering with the Warm Welcome Campaign, signing up to provide warm, safe and welcoming place for people to visit this winter.

Transformation Cornwall is building a list of Cornish venues and supporting Warm Places in the county

We know this winter has the potential to be very tough for many people in Cornwall, with bills and other costs rising.

Across the UK, churches, community halls and other venues are registering with the Warm Welcome Campaign, signing up to provide warm, safe and welcoming places for people to seek refuge in this winter. Some are opening every day, others for a few hours each week.

Transformation Cornwall is building a comprehensive list of venues in Cornwall. The aim is to help local organisations sign-post people to their nearest Warm Space and also to create a peer support network for everyone involved in this life-saving effort.

We are also here to support your church or group to set up as a Warm Space. If you are exploring this, we recommend reading the Warm Welcome Campaign’s FAQs and launch video, as well as checking out the Places of Welcome initiative, which has great advice for how you could create a space that stays open beyond this winter.

Watch this space as we compile the list of Cornish venues and please do contact us on info@transformation-cornwall.org.uk to find out more or to let us know you’re taking part.
