Would you consider joining our friendly and supportive ‘church on the street’ in this challenging and vital front-line Christian work in the night time economy of Truro on Saturday nights?
There are opportunities as either a Street Pastor on the streets or as a Prayer Pastor at the base.
Each Saturday night a team of 3+ Street Pastors goes out onto the streets to care for people who find themselves in difficulty, or vulnerable for reasons such as alcohol consumption, drugs use, mental health problems, homelessness etc. (commitment is usually one Saturday night per month).
Meanwhile 2 Prayer Pastors hold the fort back at base and take messages from the Street Pastors, recording details of the people they meet and help and praying for all involved in those encounters.
