Title: Communications & Marketing Officer
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: £16,216 per annum (£27,027 full time equivalent)
Location: Based at our office space in Pool, Cornwall with hybrid working available
Purpose of Role
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Marketing Coordinator will support Transformation CPR to plan and deliver our marketing, branding and advertising strategies.
This is a key role ensuring that our essential services addressing food poverty, financial hardship, and improved health and wellbeing, are clearly communicated and promoted to the widest possible audience. This includes a wide range of stakeholders including service users, professional networks, funders, donors, suppliers and the wider community.
Responsible for:
· Working with the leadership team to identify and achieve annual marketing priorities
· Creating and delivering an annual calendar of communication and marketing activities to maintain awareness of services and activities
· Developing and managing all aspects of the Charity’s internal and external communication and marketing work, including (although not exclusively) internal & external newsletters, social media platforms, communicating with the media, placing media copy/information, website, advertising & promotional materials, blog posts, talking-heads, photography, filming, magazine interviews
· Identifying, categorising and developing tone of voice for the different audiences within the charity
· Establishing and managing the communications and marketing database and associated distribution via different means e.g. print, electronic, verbal
· Developing brand and marketing guidelines and protocols including the implementation of the Charity’s brand across all areas of the Charity and its network
· Leading on marketing campaigns including any co-branded campaigns or marketing initiatives; post campaign review and reporting
· Liaising with designers and printers and initiating change as required
· Maintaining current sector-knowledge via market research, analysing forecasts, keeping abreast of partner initiatives, marketing activities, training and self-led initiatives
· Monitoring industry news and leading the charity in emerging trends
· Development of online funding presence and campaigns e.g. Crowdfunder
· Supporting the Transformation CPR team with meetings, events and conferences
