About The Role

We have a rare opportunity for a new member of staff to join our Chaplaincy team as a Chaplaincy Operations Assistant who can help the us move forward as we transition out of what has been one of the toughest years for both our students and staff.   The role will have responsibility for the co-ordination the Multifaith Chaplaincy volunteer team alongside playing an active role in looking after our on-site facilities. You will have the support of a friendly, skilled team with the position having the autonomy to develop our systems and processes to improve our services for students and staff. It represents a great opportunity to join us with the role playing a key part in helping the team continue our efforts in offering a first-class support service across Falmouth Exeter Plus and to our University partners.

About You

We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:  

  • Administrative experience in a University or large complex organisation.
  • IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working with volunteers an interest in and understanding of the religious/spiritual context.
  • Ability to work independently, developing systems and finding solutions to operational issues.
