The Royal Cornwall Show takes place this year from 8th-10th June and I am writing to ask if you might be interested in joining the Chaplaincy team, serving through the Sanctuary tent and across the Show Ground. We are recruiting volunteer chaplains (clergy and lay) to help us support the Show, caring for everyone, getting alongside both guests, farmers and stall holders at the Royal Cornwall Show.
The Sanctuary team wishes to have the best people for such a representative role, to recruit safely (Enhanced DBS, Leadership Safeguarding Training) and so we wondered if you might be interested? We will provide training in chaplaincy via Zoom and the volunteer chaplains would be on a rota for one day or across the days. If any chaplain hasn’t got their own membership of the Royal Cornwall Show, we can provide them with a day ticket for the day or days they are serving.
