Who are we?
The Pursue Network is a place where worship leaders, musicians, production crew and other creative Christians can gather together, connect, and receive training and support. Based in South West UK, we chase the Father’s heart as we pursue the God we worship. Our vision is to see this region alive with vibrant, authentic worship from coast to coast.
Over all things we put God first. The team of people behind Pursue Network are all Christians that love God and pursue His heart. We aren’t perfectionists, and we certainly aren’t perfect! We aspire to honest, heart-felt worship. We have launched the Pursue Network because of a shared vision that we believe meets a need in the South West.
Steve Gibson and Toby Lee are the key leaders of The Pursue Network. Steve is currently studying for a Diploma in Theology, Ministry and Mission with St Mellitus. He also trains teachers for the National Centre of Computing Education. More importantly, he’s been leading worship in the South West for over 20 years, working with different teams to enable them to worship more effectively. Toby is the Worship and Creative Pastor of Bridge Church in Launceston. Trained at Gas Street, he has a passion to see the South West on fire for God and has a pastoral heart.
We are in the process of applying for formal charity status and will update the website accordingly once we have more news.
We are multi-denominational with a wide range of worship experience across different contemporary and traditional church settings. We understand rural and urban, large and small, big worship teams and solo musicians. We’ve led worship in small rooms in Dartmoor where two people meet as well as conferences such as Creation Fest.
More importantly, we’re keen to partner with others. We already have people that have said they are willing to travel to the South West to help run training. But we also want to recognise that the South West is filled with incredibly talented worshippers who have something valuable to share.
