With Halloween and bonfire night behind us, Christmas planning is very much underway! For many, it’s a busy time of year, and for some it can feel quite lonely. Taking time to chat with neighbours over mince pies, or enjoying a shared meal is a great way to keep connected, which is why we’re launching The Big Lunch at Christmas this year. As with the annual Big Lunch in June, it’s all about sharing food and friendship with people in your community. It could be giving the gift of time and inviting the neighbours in for tea, hosting something bigger in a community space, or setting an extra place at your table for someone that lives alone.
