Our ambition is to end street homelessness in Cornwall
St Petrocs was founded over 30 years ago on the principle that everyone should have a place to call home, where they would be safe, secure and able to contribute to their community
We provide accommodation, support, advice, training and resettlement services to single homeless people in Cornwall.
We strive to provide the best quality of service possible to those people, aged 16–65, who find themselves homeless and for whom no provision is made within the community, either statutory or otherwise.
Our services
Outreach: St Petrocs operates an outreach service, where our staff find and engage with rough sleepers across the length and breadth of Cornwall.
Accommodation: Providing somewhere to call “home” is an essential first step for those who are homeless. St Petrocs provide supported and move-on accommodation, as well as hospital discharge and early intervention services.
Resource Centres: Our Resource Centres offer advice and support services as well as access to a wide range of facilities including showers, toilets, food, clothing, bedding, laundry and storage, and activities that actively promote health and well being.
Health and Recovery: Addressing health and recovery is often key to supporting people who are engaging with our services. We provide a Health for Homeless GP clinic in both our centres in Truro and Penzance, and Freshfield is our drug and alcohol counselling and helpline service.
