Please help Truro Foodbank this Harvest…

Harvest is one of the most important times of the year for Truro Foodbank as it enables us to restock our shelves. The past year has been a real struggle for many families and requests for emergency food help in the Truro area have increased.

We would be extremely grateful for donations of food and household items to help those in need over the winter months.  The following items are examples of what we need:

  • Long-life milk
  • Squash or cordials (e.g. orange or blackcurrant)
  • Tinned cold meat
  • Tinned meat in sauce
  • Tinned meat pies/puddings
  • Tins of carrots or sweetcorn
  • Tins of pineapple or mandarin oranges
  • Tins of custard
  • Small jars of coffee
  • Laundry liquid/powder

We have a reasonable stock of the following items so need less of these:

  • Packets of rice
  • Tinned potatoes
  • Baked beans
  • Tins of peas
