| We are delighted to share our latest video ‘Find Your Welcome’, a video for refugees and asylum seekers across the UK to introduce them to the UK church. Find Your Welcome is available in Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Spanish, French and English to be accessible to as many people as possible. It is wonderful to feel Welcome. Whether you are arriving in a new place for the first time, meeting with old friends or simply receiving a welcome from your children when you get home. For many refugees and asylum seekers arriving in the UK, feeling welcome is not often their first experience. Arriving in a new country, city or town can feel scary and lonely. The church is perfectly placed to offer a Welcome; to open its doors and its hearts to the stranger, and provide a place of safety and security. However, for many refugees and asylum seekers, the church may be a place of uncertainty and a whole new cultural experience. That is why we have created this video to remind them that they are welcome. |
