Families and Households – Call for Evidence

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York set up the Families and Households Commission in March 2021 to find out about the pressures and challenges facing all families and households in England today, as well as to highlight the good and positive in terms of what works well and how that can be built on.

In order to find out more, the Commission has launched a six-week Call for Evidence, and we want to hear from as many people and organisations as possible.

Please read the briefing below to find out how you can help the Commission to make recommendations to the Church of England and wider society, and then fill out the Call for Evidence – we recommend using the Survey Monkey form, but you can also download the form and email it or send it back to us by post. The Call for Evidence is open until 18th November 2021.

We will be issuing two separate calls for evidence: this first Call for Evidence invites adults aged 18 and over the contribute. The second, at a later date, will invite young people aged under 18 to contribute their experiences and ideas.

Briefing pack

This pack gives more information about what the Call for Evidence is for, the subjects in the questionnaire, and ways of responding. Please read this before completing the Call for Evidence.
