Operation Noah is an ecumenical charity which campaigns for fossil fuel divestment by churches, and investments in climate solutions, such as renewable energy. It also encourages churches to manage their land in more environmentally-sensitive ways. Shilipita was active with the Young Christian Climate Network and works as an environmental analyst in the private sector.
Charles Bakolo, Climate change advocate and member of ClimateYES. Former Malawi spokesman on creation care for Tearfund. Charles led a campaign in his home country of Malawi to ban ‘thin plastics’. He is now studying Environmental Management at the University of Manchester.
Jacob Owens, lead policy analyst and researcher for the International Affairs Department at the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales. Jacob advises the Bishops on a range of issues including racial justice, migration, peacebuilding, disarmament and caring for our common home.
Rev Tim Norwood, National Officer for Local Ecumenism, Church of England. Tim Norwood believes that Christians can make a bigger impact if they work together. He has experience in collaborative leadership, community organising and ecumenical mission. He studied theology in Aberdeen, served as co-chair of the Citizens UK Council, and was part of the steering group for “Christmas Starts with Christ”. He is an Anglican vicar who likes being creative.
