June 16, 2021 | 7:30 pm 8:30 pm
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Western Terrace, Falmouth TR11 4QJ

Climate is an important part of our vision as a church, we look for ways to genuinely care for and protect our planet, individually and collectively as a church.

As the Young Christian Climate Network Relay from the G7 in Cornwall to the COP26 UN climate talks in Glasgow passes through Falmouth, we plan to open the church in Partnership with Falmouth & Penryn Churches Together for a time of prayer and praise around this important subject at 7.30pm on Wed 16 June.

Who are YCCN?

Young Christian Climate Network are an action-focused community of Christians aged 18-30. You can find out more about about them here.

Why the Relay from St Ives to Glasgow?

We’re doing this as an act of solidarity and faith, believing that no country should be pushed further into debt because of climate
change. We may be leading the relay but it isn’t ‘ours’ – it is an offering to UK churches to join and own this journey”
