Join us for the performance of Stainer’s Crucifixion.
The Crucifixion was composed by John Stainer in 1887 as a devotional oratorio. It was intended to be within the scope of church choirs and it includes five hymns for congregational participation. The text was written by W. J. Sparrow Simpson and was first performed by the choir of Marylebone Church. There have been performances in Marylebone Church annually since then.
All are welcome to this free performance.
