This year’s opportunity to think and pray about the lives of seafarers, their families and those who support them, takes place on 10 July 2022, although can be observed at any date that suits.

Sailor’s Society
The Sailor’s Society has published worship resources for 2022 under the theme ‘Calming the storm at home, in port and at sea’. They include an outline for a Sea Sunday 2022 church service, prayers, a selection of hymns and worship songs, a sermon suggestion, all-age talk and ‘On the Beach’ resources for a mission and outreach event. Stella Maris
This year’s resources have a theme of ‘How will you help your neighbour?’ They include a Gospel meditation based on Mark 6: 7-13, suggested prayers of intercession, an appeal talk, childrens’ resources, plus resources to help publicise events. They can be downloaded from the Stella Maris website.
