This is an information event for individuals and churches within the Church of England to learn about Ukrainian sponsorship opportunities.
We have been overwhelmed and humbled by people coming forwards and asking how they can be involved in sponsorship and hosting schemes for supporting Ukrainians fleeing the war. This event is an opportunity to hear from experts on what you need to know and do to take part. It will include expert input from the Church of England’s staff on refugee issues, from government officials overseeing the scheme and, key charities and bodies representing Ukrainians and an introduction and welcome from The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, the Bishop of Dover. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you may have about getting involved.
