This session looks at the problem of Holiday Hunger and specifically how it relates to Cornwall. During the summer holidays many families have to make difficult choices to afford the extra £30-£40 a week to ensure their children can have a balanced diet. The situation this year is even worse than usual with many families adversely affected by the impact of Covid 19.

Featuring speakers from Bosvigo School; Camborne, Pool and Redruth Foodbank; and Penlee Cluster this information session draws on practical experience of what this means to families and how Churches can help in this crucial time of need.

In addition to the information session, you are welcome to join a facilitated discussion group in the afternoon. These will be at 2pm and 3pm and will give you the opportunity to reflect upon the morning session.
