As Christians in Media we’re big believers in the power of prayer, so it’s central to everything we do for and with our community.
DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE MEDIA
In an era of fake news, distrust and cynicism, it’s never been more important for us to pray for the media industry, as well as those who work in and with it.
So on the Day of Prayer for the Media, we invite churches to set aside time in their meetings to pray for their local, regional and national media: to pray for those in their church community who work in, and with, media.
To help church and small group leaders, we have produced this video, together with a special Prayer Resource that can be downloaded from our Home Page. It explains why we should pray for this important sector of public life, includes some wonderful prayers from faith and media leaders across the world.
