Join us to look at how we can put our faith into action, explore the role of hope in our faith and hear the inspiring stories of people we work with overseas who are bearing witness to that hope.
We’ve just come to the end of a summer marked by climate catastrophes around the world and political upheaval here in the UK – yet it feels like we’re about to head into a winter which could be marked by yet more hardship.
It’s no wonder many of us are worried. It would be easy to lose hope.
But we are a people of faith. We have hope in a better world. And we want to put that faith into action.
On Saturday 29 October between 11:00am and 2:30pm, we’ll be coming together online to look at how we can put out faith into action and hope for a better world for our global family and the common home we share.
At this year’s Faith in Action Day, we’ll:
- Explore how we can put our faith into action both as individuals and as a faith community
- Meet parishioners who have responded to Pope Francis’s call for us to play our part in transforming our food system
- Learn about COP27 summit in Egypt and pray together for those who are suffering the most as a result of the climate crisis
