“All because of religion!”
Religion, violence and the imperative of transfiguration.
Zoom webinar, 1 May 2024, 7.30-9PM.
This lecture will focus on an important issue that we face in our world today, namely the rising tide of violence and its association with religion. This has been an issue that has been with us for some time and has been posed by appalling acts of terrorism and nationalisms that draw inspiration from religious identity.
Join Dr Clare Amos to explore how we are to make sense of this complex relationship between religion and violence.
