More than ever, the Middle East and North Africa need our prayers. Join us for a special time together on Zoom on Wednesday 20 November 2024, as we learn together about some of the fascinating Christmas traditions of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and pray for our brothers and sisters there.
At the event, we will hear from Marianne, one of our staff members in Lebanon, as she and her family face a very different Christmas to usual. Marianne shares: “Thank you for taking the time to hear about how we celebrate Christmas in Lebanon during these challenging times. Viewers in Lebanon love Christmas, they love life, and they have so much resilience. Christmas has always been a time of joy despite the hardships… many of our viewers are displaced, but they call in and share about the hope they have in Christ.”
Come along to hear more from Marianne and others, and spend some time praying for our staff and viewers who will be celebrating Christmas in the context of conflict and uncertainty.
A Very Middle Eastern Advent LIVE takes place on Zoom at 12 noon, repeated at 8pm. Each event will last for around 45 minutes.
