The British Red Cross are looking to understand more about the Camborne community from the experts – the people who live there!

We are thrilled to invite you along to join us for an hour on Tuesday 9th March, Saturday 13th March or Monday 15th March to discuss Camborne, it’s strengths, challenges and understand the goals of people locally.

The British Red Cross are currently trying to understand how we can be more community led in our work, and are starting by getting to know more about local communities. One of those communities is Camborne! As residents of the town, you are the experts so we want to hear directly from you!

We are hosting a virtual event (on Zoom) where you can tell us about some of the issues affecting your community, some of the great things that exist within the community and how we can help Camborne and everyone maximise their potential.

If you would like to come along please let us know by registering for a ticket and we will send more information and the Zoom invite closer to the time.

If you’re a first time Zoom user, send an email to community@redcross.org.uk and we will help you through the process.

Details of how to join the virtual session will be sent to attendees following registration.

Bookings are on a first come, first served basis so ensure you book your free ticket early to join the conversation.

Information about British Red Cross community research:

The British Red Cross have looked at locations that score highly in health inequalities, loneliness, digital isolation and overall index of multiple deprivation.

They want to make sure their work aligns with the British Red Cross three main areas of focus which are (1)Disasters and Emergencies, (2)Health Inequalities and (3)Displacement and Migration.
