CTC Weekly News began publication four years ago on 12 June 2019, building on previous work in the Falmouth/Penryn and Penzance Churches Together areas. Since then we have published:
- 209 weekly issues
- 1650 news stories
- 1710 events
- 183 vacancy notices
- c2000 links to other organisations’ newsletters
We currently have 252 subscribers from all parts of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and further afield too, many of whom forward the newsletter to others, so our reach is quite extensive!
This is all thanks to you, our loyal readers and supporters, and all the many individuals and organisations that regularly send us details of their news and events. We couldn’t do it without you!
HOWEVER: although large numbers of people are involved in supplying content, the technical part of adding this to the website and generating the Weekly News is currently down to your editor working alone. This is clearly not sustainable, so if we are to reach our fifth birthday, we need some more people ‘behind the scenes’ so the ‘how to do it’ knowledge is more widely spread! So if you would like the CTC infoHub to continue and could spare an hour or two a month to help (or know someone who might!) we’d love to hear from you!
